Leonard Iverson 1916-1983
Leonard T. iverson, 66, Great Falls, Montana, formerly of Bagley, died Wednesday at Great Falls.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 31 at the Faith Lutheran Church, Bagley, with the Rev. Dennis Brovold officiating. Interment was at the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
He was born May 26, 1916 at Bagley, the son of Ole and Olena Iverson. After completing school, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served att the Panama Canal during World War II. He later moved back to Minnesota where he farmed. In 1955 he moved to Great Falls, Montana, where he worked in a rest home. In 1957 he became manager of the Sternberg Rest Home and had been manager since.
He is survived by four sisters, Lenora Sternberg, Big Sandy, Montana, Inga Skjervheim, Langdon, North Dakota, Eva Braaten, Love Park, Illinois, Martha Olson, bagley; two brothers, James Iverson, Leavenworth, Washington and Olaf Iverson, Bagley; numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
